Back in April of 1964 the darkened studios of the old Channel 13, located in the upper
floors of the Mosque Theater in Newark New Jersey, came alive as the brand
new WNJU-TV Channel-47. In the following years an energetic group of young broadcast
hopefuls joined several seasoned broadcasters to begin a brand new television station. Over 40
years have passed and it is now time for us all to join together to share memories of those truly “golden years of broadcasting”.I would like to thank Bob Garrity, Leon Sirulnick, Ed Buda, and Carl Capolon for their support in getting this reunion web-site up and running.
