PLACE AND TIME: Saturday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to Midnight at the Hilton Newark Airport Hotel, 1170 Spring St., Elizabeth, NJ
PUNTA GORDA – The (former) teen dancers of Channel 47’s Disc-O-Teen, broadcast from the Mosque Theatre (Symphony Hall) in Newark, New Jersey are looking for all dancers who appeared on the show -- broadcast throughout the New York metropolitan area from 1965 to 1967 -- and invite them to attend the 40th anniversary of the last episode. The reunion gala will also celebrate Zacherley’s 90th birthday. Fans of Disc-O-Teen are invited to attend.
In addition to hosting Disc-O-Teen, Zacherley was the host of WABC-TV’s (Channel 7) Shock Theatre, WOR-TV’s (Channel 9) Zacherley at 12:00, WPIX-TV’s (Channel 11) Chiller Theatre, a popular DJ on WNEW-FM and WPLJ-FM, and a recording star and movie actor in his long, illustrious career.
